Career Exploration
We live in a culture that can make you feel like your career is who you are. It is often suggested that we must find our passion in life to be happy. However, recent scientific studies do not back that up. Rather, what career experts know is that we want career autonomy. We want to be creative in our lives and in the workplace. It is imperative that your work environment is healthy and makes you feel supported. We feel that you should be able to bring your best self and skills to your work. You CANNOT change the work environment into a better one. However, if the work environment is a healthy and productive one---you can become a happy and productive person that will be purposeful in many ways.

We can help you match your skills, personality and values to the right work environment. And we can determine if it is time to start your own business endeavor. You spend 40-80 hours a week making money to support yourself. You should feel pretty good while doing it. Ideally, the work is something you enjoy.

Remember: You are not your job. You may get a career that you love and that is a major part of your life. You also have family, friends, hobbies, values, etc. You are your life. We at Sage hold to that philosophy. We believe that when you work on that premise your career will fall into place.
